SEPTEMBER
1 Our circuit prayer meeting this evening at Harlington
2 All those preparing for the start of a new term
3 All the groups who meet in our chapels for fellowship and worship
4 New beginnings and the courage to face the future with hope
5 Beginning of the weekend and the time we will spend with loved ones
6 All those involved in coffee mornings, for their faithfulness
7 We thank God for the freedom to worship him and remember those denied such freedom
8 Residents and those who care for them at
9 People who are caring for the elderly
10 Those who work with abused children and adults
11 Ask God to be close to those who are suffering from depression
12 Thank God for those people who care for us
13 We remember Linslade, Sundon and Kensworth
14 We thank God for all the stewards in all our churches
15 We remember Lucille and Rupert and the circuit meeting today when her offer to continue with us will be decided
16 We thank God for all those people who take initiative in our churches and start new things
17 We pray for the president of conference, Stephen Poxon
18 Remember before God, Toddington, Harlington and the Square
19 That all our Harvest suppers and celebrations will be blessed
20 Bedfordshire, Essex and Herfordshire Synod, hosted by the Luton Circuit
21 Those preparing for baptism
22 Those engaging with the Christian message and hearing God speak
23 Where prayers are not being answered
24 Situations in our lives where God is silent
25 The blessing of parents and children
26 Pray for the work being done with children and young people in our churches
27 Those who are an inspiration to us
28 That we will not doubt God’s goodness to us despite the situation we are in
