Welcome to The Square Methodist Church website.

The Square is a place of worship and prayer where a warm welcome awaits you. The church is open most Friday mornings for visitors and those who wish to take time to be still and pray. There is also a short informal service at 10.45am.

Our Mission Statement:

We are a town centre church aiming to radiate God’s love,
as revealed in Jesus Christ,
for the local community and the wider world.
We seek to help people in their search for God
through our worship, prayer and action.

The community rooms of the church are open on Saturday mornings for refreshments, and are used by a variety of community groups during the week.

There has been a Methodist presence in Dunstable since 1812, and a church on the Ashton Square site since 1831. The current church building dates back to 1909.

The church is planning a redevelopment for our 2009 centenary year called Frontline 09, which will open up the front of the church, improve access and ensure The Square remains at the heart of the town.
